The Game Industry of Finland Report 2022

The outlook of Finnish Game Industry for both 2021 and 2022 is very positive across almost all metrics. In 2021, the industry’s turnover grew to approximately €3.2 billion, an increase of over 30% from the previous year. The Finnish Game Industry ranks among the five largest game industries in Europe and is a leading developer of mobile games.This publication aims to provide a holistic overview of the Finnish Game Industry in 2022. The data and information presented in the following pages is based on interviewing 134 key studios from about 200 game developers in Finland. This study is a continuation of similar studies conducted in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.
